Jim has 24 years of real estate experience, including residential and commercial property sales and management in the local area and in 20 different US states and 7 countries.  He has a master’s degree in Administrative Services, was a property and financial services representative with John Deere Company for 15 years and completed over 24 years in the US military.  This experience includes managing over 7 million square feet of commercial real estate, working with the US Congress on property exchanges and leading 25 small real estate teams throughout 6 US States.  Originally from Robbinsdale, Minnesota, Jim settled in Rochester, Minnesota near family members, and hundreds of friends and business acquaintances. Jim's major accomplishments include very successful real estate assistance to first-time, moderate, and high-end residential homeowners; and his experience is always a great benefit to investment property owners.  Jim is known for his attention to detail, and successfully managing the buying and selling needs of residential and commercial property owners. 

Jim is a licensed Minnesota Real Estate Agent with Counselor Realty, Rochester, Minnesota. He has experience with Residential, Commercial and Agriculture real estate. Jim was born in Bismarck, North Dakota and grew up in the Rochester area. Jim is a Veteran (US Marines) and received a Bachelor’s degree from Winona State University. He has over 25 years of government service, the majority in the information technology, contract negotiations and administration fields. Over the years he has been involved with  many community activities and civic groups. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors for the Southeast Chapter of the Red Cross and the SEMAR MLS Board of Directors. His  background will serve you well.  He has over 20+ years of experience negotiating contractors, vendors and public officals.
